Duke vs NCSU weekend nights

So I live near NCSU, but I notice the Durham area has a pretty steady surge through the night while Raleigh is mainly after 2.
Would it be worth driving out to Durham on Saturday, or is NCSU good enough? I usually pull around 100 bucks 10-3am

I believe it is. I have done it this Friday and last Friday. Steady work in the Duke area. I will work my way up to Durham from Raleigh (taking fares along the way of course). But for me Chapel Hill was the biggest payoff last saturday, but I don't know if that was just a one time deal or if it goes on every Saturday. I will see tonight...lol I usually leave both areas around 12:30 to make it back to Raleigh for the surge. I probably could stay up there and do just as good, but when I get tired and the night gets slow, I would rather be close to home.
Downtown Durham has steady business on Friday and Saturday nights. I mainly work Durham (since it's where I live) but Chapel Hill can be good for business too. Few things about Durham on the weekend: 1) Mostly short trips, so you'll have a lot of fares <$4 outside the surge (but that's probably typical of the other cities too) 2) I've done all three downtown areas, and my experience is that Duke students are the WORST for trying to cram >4 pax in. And every last one of them knows it's not OK. It's to the point where I submit a "concern" message to Uber on all of those trips, especially since less than half are cool about it, and I don't want my rating to drop because 2/3 of my trips are kids who aren't used to hearing "NO" 3) the cops do not play on Main St, especially around the Brightleaf and Shooters areas. Don't even think about picking up/dropping in a taxi zone, and you won't get hassled by the cops if you can avoid stopping on main st. altogether.

Durm, I haven't had that issue @ Duke, but it's like the norm @ State! Foolish State kids r the reason I journey to Duke and UNC! Now these aren't the State students going downtown, these r the State students going from one campus party to the next campus party...LOL And sadly, I live a few miles from State, so I could work that scene and save time, gas and mileage on my car if they would act right! LOL And I'm not ragging on all State kids, I've met some really nice kids that go to State, but there r some that just don't get it!

Actually, it's really easy to handle, here's what you do. When you roll up make a note of when you arrived (confirm arrival on the app if you need to). Keep doors locked until you see what you are getting into. If there's more than 4 tell them they need to cancel and get an XL. If they cancel (and it's 5 minutes after they requested) you get paid cancellation fee. Otherwise, drive off a little bit, wait till it's 5 minutes after you arrived and cancel on them as "No show". You will get paid and more importantly they can't rate you on a cancelled trip. I'm close to campus and deal with this all the time, once you've told them you can only take 4, they will kill your rating so it's not worth taking some of them.
Thanks Disgusted Driver! You guys r so helpful!
I'm thinking about heading to Chapel Hill tonight from 1-3. I'm crazy, I know...LOL I had a nice lil nap and I'm refreshed!
I sent a pre-text if I'm picking up from campus letting them know 4 passenger's max so I will get a cancellation a few mins later at times.
