Everything was fine and she was even out and waiting on time. I was like how on Earth did she get a 4.3 because she didn't smell of any bad armpit smells and she was quiet and didn't put her feet on seats or anything I would give 1 star for. But when we got to destination is when I found out why she is 4.3 lol.

The woman asks me to do a U-turn to let her off on the sidewalk across us and the road is a narrow downtown one that is just 1 and a half lane and no place to easily do a U-turn.

I informed her can you just walk that 12 foot crosswalk to get to it? And she got out. Her destination is only 12 feet away and she can cross that 12 feet crosswalk.

Like wtf?

OMG, I got one of those late Saturday night, dead quiet residential street, otherwise very nice couple and I'm pretty sure they even tipped me. Fortunately I didn't react adversely, just backed it up one house and bade them a good night.

Uber's app will not show you the message or verbally tell you the message of a passenger during a phone call. So if you want to ignore the messages or phone calls all together, you can always pretend that you're talking to somebody even though you're in voicemail.

This is especially helpful when a disgruntled person comes in at the 4 minute 59 second mark and you can see him huffing and puffing on their way to the car. Just dial your voicemail real quick and act like you talking to somebody. Conveniently show them the phone is engaged in a phone call and profusely apologize for missing their phone calls or messages.

" hey Mom let me call you back, I got to drive these passengers."

I simply let them know (factually), I’m sorry, I don’t take phone calls and keep my phone on “do not disturb” (I can’t continually turn the feature off and on). It’s highly dangerous to take calls or it just continually ringing while driving down the road. BTW, it’s a fact Uber can’t “make” you take calls at all (they should not be telling passengers you’re driver “must” take calls - they don’t).
