I try and do the burbs and with Uber I am pretty successful, however with Lyft at least this last week I get pulled into the city with almost the first ride and than cannot get out of the city unless I turn off the app it is so busy.

I will say though that in this last week with Lyft they seem to have a harder time getting the car pool full before heading into the city. Where with Uber I usually have a full car with two or three separate passengers each trip into the city and that really helps with quest and consecutive trip bonus.

Is it easy to get 20 rides a day on Lyft? I know it can easily be done on Uber but thinking about using Lyft more.
If I were going to do this shit full-tme I'd need bail money. I'd also do Uber not Lyft.

Uber's Quest are easier to hit (no peak hours, no 90% Acceptance Rate etc.) Uber Surges more and has better Boosts.

It's not the rides...it's the incentive to take the rides and the ease by which one can get high value rides. This is where lyft has its head up its ass ona day to play with drivers lives basis.

They are also completely inflexible if you miss an aspect of the incentive program.

Lyft is useful when nothing else is happening or when that hot pink thigh high go go boots is covering the map.

The other time I find Lyft useful is when my Uber DF takes me out into VA and I want to get back into D.C. and not use my Uber DF. I'll use Lyft DF and get a ride back so I'm not deadmiling back.

I have had times when once I accepted a Gryft job, I could not get back to Uber because of all of the stacked pings. Even if I cancelled a stacked LL, immediately, it started to offer me another job. If it were a LL and I refused it, immediately, another ping came. Once I saw a regular ping, I accepted. This usually happens in the City, but I have had it happen in Falls Gulch, Seven Corners and Tyson's.

Never happens in surburb

I average 15 rides on Lyft over 6 hours. Basically 2 or 3 rides an hour. I would imagine 20 is possible if you work 10 to 12 hours.

The key points to Lyft are times you work, locations and mileage on the trip.

Lyft has slightly less demand than Uber does but the times of less demand differ. There's times when Uber will be dead but Lyft is active.

Never do Lyft in the suburbs. Long pickups galore and you're rewarded by a short trip once they're in the car. Incidentally, PG county is pretty good with Lyft but it's line hell over there. Everyone does line.

The incentives for Lyft are terrible. If your car is older, you don't get the PDB. You only get streak and the PZ.

actually if the lyft is close in the burbs you can do it. I have had a few decent justifiable fares...

I stopped doing Uber about two months ago and started doing Lyft full time, I'm overall happy with the results I'm making more money the riders are nicer. Only thing I'll say is you have to commit to doing lines which at this point I'm not happy about but I'll do it. I'd rather be constantly busy than sit around that's always been my issue with Uber.

I officially became a full time Uber/Lyft driver this week. I feel the same rides with Lyft comes pum pum one behind the other including the LL which I really don't like them with both apps. I reached the $250 weekly guarantee with Lyft in 2 days. One thing that I can't understand is why drivers sit at the DCA TNC for almost 2 hours to get a Uber/Lyft ride into DC or Arlington for 6 - 7 bucks. Rest? Have lunch? Use restroom? Save gas? I still feel as a rookie after 3 months since sign up. Any good advices from experts drivers.
