I have been a loyal Uber driver. However, now that I can't drive, I have lyft only.

As I have reviewed my background check several times, I thought I wonder how many other people stop using uber and only drive for lyft

Like you, I'm on both platforms. I usually only use Lyft for scheduled rides and when I sit for more than 10 minutes without an Uber ping. However, I've also had good days on Lyft, bad days on Uber so I'm not sure there's really a big difference between the two.

So I went ahead and applied for Lyft which was about 2 weeks ago. I get copy of a background report this morning and everything is clear. I look at the Lyft portal and my background is still pending. I go back and look at the report I received, which is for Uber.

Now I continue to wait for the Lyft background. Guess Uber and Lyft both use checkr and from the looks of it, Lyft is not a priority for checkr.

I do both. Lyft seems busier than uber but the average trip is much shorter. You also don't get 45min notification when it's primne time. Run both apps to stay busy and don't chase the Lyft bonus.

I thought you didn't get the +45 min notification only if you had set destination filter and it was surging. For some reason I believe you'd get the long trip notification and primetime if there was no filter...

There's not enough room on the current version of the app to display 45min although some of the beta versions are showing it.
