Hello, do any of you know a Lyft (and probably also Uber) driver named Teresa who was driving in San Francisco, CA on Saturday night and then went to Belmont, CA after (thank you, FindMyPhone)? I left my cell phone in her car, and Lyft has been awful in its inability to contact her and let her know she has my phone in her car. COULD YOU PLEASE REFER HER TO THIS POST? I really need my phone - it's incredibly critical I get it back immediately. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. The only remaining option Lyft has provided me is to file a police report, and I'd really rather not send the police to harass this poor woman (who, for all I know, might never open the app again. Not that Lyft cares . . .)

When you find my iPhone
it starts dinging. You can call it too... hopefully her next pax didnt keep it.
I generally search the pics and post em on a porn site before making any attempts to return the phone
I hope you get it back..

There's a high probability your phone ended up here:

I had to google that. Sounds great, but then yeah, a great place for thieves, until I read their website.

A remote attendant supervises each purchase over video link, takes thumb prints, scans gov ID and then if possible checks serial numbers before each handing over cash. You'd be better off hooking up a truck you stole from another Uber driver and just driving away with it to open for cash later. :)

I would feel bad if someone took your phone and deposited it into one of those phone ATMs to get money for it.

...this is why if I find a phone, I just chuck it out the window into the closest snowbank or nearest curb. This way you can use Find My Phone and retrieve it at your earliest possible time.

Good luck. Lyft won't take any responsibility. Even when law enforcement demands it, they do everything they can to avoid responsibility.

Might I suggest sending a message to the driver offering cash for the safe return of your phone?
Lyft has no responsibility for some dumbass that left something in a drivers car. The driver also has no responsibility either. Back to the dumbass that left the phone in the car.

I was going to say something snarkly, but that kind of dedication to reuniting the client to his phone is where it's at 👍
