Was it with his own personal firearm, or was it a struggle for the pax's weapon?

If it turns out to be a true self-defense situation where the driver was protecting himself from a deadly-force attack by the pax, and Uber fires him.....I hope he sues and starts a class action lawsuit to compel Uber to revoke its rule about drivers carrying firearms.

My $0.02 worth.....

This is a Uber witch hunt story. The article clearly says it was unclear if the shooting occurred while Hancock was on a job. Add the fact NO details about what may have even happened. The media just found out he drove for Uber and took off with that. Complete BS. Im sure it wouldnt have been as attention grabbing had he worked for walmart or mcdonalds.

Well, the shooter did say he shot his passenger so it seems pretty clear he was on a job. Maybe there are few details because it's still an active investigation.

The report did say the driver has a license to carry per a phone interview with the shooter's father. 10 shots fired. Passenger in front seat.

Funny, these look like details to me.

The driver can't initiate a class action law suit over this issue. Not how class action lawsuits work. Google the topic.

Anybody in your car not driving is a passenger. LOL. So no, it's NOT clear if he was on a job or not. The story even says it was unclear if he was OTJ. The CAL joke is a bit strange but sure ill google it later.

Would you call 911 and refer to your friend or mom or auntie as your passenger? Oooookkkkaaarrrrrrrr?! And it was a person quoted in the piece that claimed this was "unclear". Don't mean she's right. Lol.

So why? Just why?? Don't flex.
