Do new or “newer” drivers get better promotions than experienced drivers? My roommate and I get drastically different promotions. We live in Atlanta. I get offers like $7 for 7 trips, $10 for 10 trips, etc... She gets promotional offers like 20 trips for $150. I’ve also recently heard commercials offering new drivers $250 extra for completing 10 trips. Why does Uber reward people who drive less more than they encourage their tenured drivers? It’s not like we get yearly raises.

Because 96% of drivers quit before their first anniversary and the uber model requires a constant churning of new drivers so therefore the incentives. Why give an incentive to the person who is already hooked on ubering?

Do you both have Uber X and Eats enabled?

A while back, if you stopped doing X and only did Eats, they changed accounts to Eats Quests - far less. They will change your account back if you ask.

if they let a few get rich, they won’t have a problem recruiting

I recently got a pretty good quest and I've been driving for 5+ years. It came after I hadn't driven for months. I think it's more to do with getting drivers out who usually don't drive, in areas that need them.

This is a great response for anyone doing Eats. Not sure why it had been overlooked.

Huge tip to help eats drivers. Do one X ride each quest period to keep your X quest levels.

I hadn't driven pax in ages, my account was switched to Eats Quests. A couple of phone calls and it was resolved.

A driver buddy of mine didn't have X, he signed up and began getting the better Quests. He's now doing pax instead of delivering food.
