I get the notification to go outside and then call him 5 minutes later, he tells everybody in the back to be quiet and ask who I am. I tell him that I'm the one who ordered an uber, he says he'll come to me. I call him 5 minutes later, he says he's going the wrong way, I tell him I no longer want a ride with him because he messed up. Next morning I wake up to a $69 bill (the original would have been $9-16 if I was in the cab). This guy is a complete asshole and uber has no live support. I'm freaking out about how illegal and immoral this is and have no clue as to what I can do! This occured in New York

I don't know what borough of NYC you reside in, but there IS an Uber office at 27-55 Jackson Ave in Queens that opens at 10am today. You can talk to someone in person there. Good luck getting that resolved quickly. I hope everything works out for you.
