Anyone get the new driver app for Android.?On the technology front this is yet another step backward for drivers. No more Google maps, which should universal on the Android platform.

In place of Google Maps...2005 called and it wants its GPS interface back. Also, now you have to zoom into about a half mile of detail level to see the surge multiplier. The programmers who design this should have to test it on the road with one evening shift per weekend.

Can someone go to Account -> about and tell me what version they are on? Mine is crashing and support keeps telling me I just need to update but refuses to tell me what version I should be on. I think I am updated and their update is just fubar.
Mine is crashing also.... Only when I don't accept the fracking ping!!!!! Uber the technology company!!!! Here's version....

What the hell. I have 3.126.2 which should be newer. Are you in droid though?
Yup, Note 5.... And there isn't a newer update for me yet. I believe certain Droid versions get different app versions...

My App has been locked out since yesterday morning ,after I chose the waze app i got a blue screen saying something in your account needs to be corrected or updated please contact customer support for assistance . View attachment 101283

No reply since yesterday wrote in 2 times yesterday and today I asked them how many days before they resolve this issue.The only way to write in is on that contact support tab ,App won't let you get to your home screen.
Go to closest office if you need to work for $$$... Take screen shots of app messages and ask to be reimbursed $$$ lost based on your daily average of fault is theirs.... Start all communications with "please escalate to supervisor" don't wait for them if you need the money....

Actually, I have Android. I haven't updated in a while. I used Google Maps hooked up to Uber like usual. I just went to the Play Store, but no update for the driver app is available. Maybe something to do with the phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 (regular, not Edge) on T-Mobile.

I didn't update either is like they flipped a switch. My apps are set to manual update.

I totally agree... I kid you not yesterday I was driving accepted a ping and the next thing I know "bang" everything's all different. Buttons were in a different spot format was different I was so pissed. I did nothing but accept the ride and everything changed. I was driving for a good two hours before and I have downloaded any new updates in weeks. I had to apologize to my next passenger because I looked like a new driver because I couldn't figure out why it looks so different.

Apparently they deactivated me.Went down to Hoboken yesterday and they tell me I was flagged for misuse of system too many Support Adjustments .Ok so when they short me on miles or tolls I'm suppose to just eat that.Case pending review I'm still deactivated as of today.
You should get that in writing. They can't possibly be that inept to de-activate you for them stealing earnings. I assumed your yearly DMV background check was flagged

That sucks, but they should allow you back. I think they are watching this site and using certain people as examples. Someone else had the same thing happen about a month ago from here. If they reinstate you I'd be careful what you post on here that can be used to identify you
