After being online for 4 hrs this morning, I log off to fuel up. Then can't get back in.
Vehicle docs are all up to date, rating is over 4.8, no bad pax encounters, to my knowledge...
(Maybe it had something to do with trying to hand out UBER cards to taxi pax...)LOL.

Will not feel sorry for you if a taxi driver beats your ass..

when i worked for inland empire taxi of riverside ca,
i got in to a fight with a yellow cab driver of san bernardino,
for giving out cards at riverside greyhound bus station, so good luck to you on that,
let us know when your skin turns black and blue.....

Seeing I don't work in your city I guess I don't have to worry about an ass beating...that you apparently like to give.
make all the jokes you wish,
you don't come to another taxi driver's city and handout business cards your transportation service, Yes he was asking for an ass kicking..

just for the your info, i did not start the fight, he did not like what i had to say,
he said if i did not get back in my car, we are going to have a problem, So i give him a problem..

You don't f*** with taxi drivers, so you keep passing out cards to taxi client, see where that gets you.

So......the original question......I just emailed uber support about 10 times when I had an issue.

Send multiple emails, I think they get routed to different reps, and some aren't working at that time. This strategy has worked and I usually receive a fix within 5 minutes.

While I agree it's a dk move I have done similar once. A cab driver cut me off in traffic to make a turn into a shopping center, I beeped the horn he slammed his brakes and flipped me off... he pulled in the center, so did I. I parked and he pulled up to the curb, as his client was loading her stuff in the car I handed her a card and said loud enough for him to hear..." look into Uber it's an app on your phone and at least 1/2 the price of this guy probably a1/3. Use the code for a free ride" I smiled at the cabbie and told him to drive safely.

Now, I wouldn't never normally do this, in my mind the pie is big enough to feed everyone but this guy was special.

The card I gave her wasn't even an Uber card someone gave me their card and I had it I just wrote Uber on the back....

"Maybe because you are a 6'4" Blackman"

I'm 6 ft 2 and could it be that I don't bother them?

To answer the original question: it means Uber has deactivated your account as a driver. Could be over a customer complaint, could be over insurance not updated, etc. But I can tell you first hand, getting that message means your driver account is deactivated.

I'd go to the office, when was your last pax? I'd start with that. Also, I've handed out my cards at taxi stands, when a taxi isn't around. These poor people and I do mean poor in this case are being screwed so it's my job to help. I find they don't have smartphones or credit cards. Taxis need to adapt, like any industry.

Don't mess with taxi drivers, that's funny right there. I call them taxi tuffies. Most can't even read let alone fight, come on get serious here. Next you will be saying that taxi drivers are in the UFC. Oh this is comical, good laughs. Thank you.
