This happened to me yesterday.
For the duration of all my dashes, I ocassionally check my ratings.
I suggest you all do the same in case this ever happens to you.
No popup, no message, although I did get an email later.

I look at my ratings and see a contract violation for non delivery from the previous day. I start clicking into the details and see when and from where I picked up,
Immediately I knew from where, and I knew to who I delivered since it was a shop and pay.
BTW, it was a liquor delivery.
I call support. The young lady on the call was FANTASTIC!
She put me on hold while she looked into the order.
I explained to her that it is impossible to not deliver an alcohol order since you need to scan the customer's ID.
She told me she could see the scan and she is totally on my side.
She asked me to fill out the response form in app while she waited on the phone so she could forward it to the appropriate team immediately, with her recommendation that the violation be removed.
I did so, and apparently she did what she said she would do, because while we were still on the phone, the violation went away.
I thanked her a million times for her handling of my situation.
She also agreed that it was stupid on the part of the customer to report a non delivery for an order that required an ID scan. I don't know if they were going to do anything about her.
Of course I didn't get any sort of apology from DD.

And you know what?
Tell me if you would reject this order.
Shop and Pay at the supermarket.
3 bottles of booze.
0.8 miles
$25. No hidden tip.

Until the next time.

As an addon, this was the second alcohol delivery to the same person.
This time, instead of me going to her apartment, she came to the building entrance and she "forgot" to bring her ID with her, can we just forget about it. I explained to her that that is impossible, and followed her back to her apartment where she came out with her ID and I scanned it.

Yeah... But why take the order?

I was watching a youtube video of a ** becoming td, only for it to crash his ratings by accepting the bad orders and goes from a 5 to a 4.6.

It already pisses me off when amazon customers say they didn't get their delivery. If a DD customer did that shit to me I'd be tempted to offer an explanation.
You would not take a $25 order for less than a mile, with only 3 items?

So that's a good order then.

I guess they got so wasted they either lost the bottles or drank them and didn't remember it.

Usually dont have problems with good orders.
Or they are hoping to get another bottle but can’t spend that amount daily, so hoping for a freebie. Alcoholics can go through a bottle in a day or two. I know because my state is filled with alcoholics and lushes.

You know what?
Her alcohol orders were two days apart.
2 bottles and 3 bottles.
Each contained a 1.75 liter Stolichnaya
so you are probably on the mark!!!
But she looked normal. Except for her smiling.
Probably thinking how she was going to F%^K me over.

LOL! Yes because north IL is a similar drinking culture. She’s smiling because she got her alcohol fix. I dated a functional alcoholic for too many years. I use the word functional because regardless of how much he drank, he never missed work. And he looked normal, too.

WI out drinking your state since 1848!

She was getting revenge on you making her scan her ID…

I had a woman claim I never delivered the Booze and I told DD that the Booze was returned and I was assisted by DD because the woman clicked cancel the order before I could return it.

DD went back into the file and noticed what I said happened happen and then the DD Agent asked why I would not deliver the Booze and I said the woman had an Expire ID and was refusing to give her new one and told me she would just cancel the order if I didn’t accept the old ID and I told her I couldn’t, so they told me they flagged the woman for this.

Also what is funny is the DD agent that helped me return the order made sure I got double paid for it because the woman was rude not only to me, but the store and DD…

What happened was the Store tried to contact her via phone to let her know they didn’t have the cheap Vodka she wanted and the customer told them do not call just text and then the customer was upset at me because I wouldn’t play her game so she thought her trick would get me fired, but backfired on her…

The contract violation one I had was for a Hospital that wouldn’t let me go up to the room or the floor where the room was at and the woman demanded I deliver the food to her or she would report it not delivered…

Funny part she did it all in Text and the violation was removed and the woman that helped me was like your agent…

Idiot customers will do anything to get free stuff…

The original ping was $25 with no part of the tip hidden?

If that's the case I definitely would have taken it.

DD must have been having a hell of a time getting the order accepted and/or completed for them to show the entire tip up front.
