The nanny state strikes again: http://www.nj.com/traffic/index.ssf...driving.html#incart_2box_nj-homepage-featured
I have to be honest. It has to be when you're being really egregious. I doubt they are going after the people who are taking a sip while driving. It's more in line with people who are eating ridiculous stuff or putting on makeup, etc. the coffee example was just used by NJ dot com to whip people up, which is their specialty. This is just plain dumb. Cops will need to stare into cars for coffee cups!? I understand why they'd want to do this but to enforce it will be ridiculous!
Well, the state-level nimrods are about to solve the cheap gas issue with their $0.23 rape of the state's populace.I like the stat they are using to justify this.
"Fatal accidents increased 9.6% so far the first 5 months of 2016".
Um could the cheap gas be the problem here, more people driving, people driving more cause gas is cheap, so accidents increase regardless.
The gas tax hasn't been raised in YEARS and the roads are shit. What would you rather do?Well, the state-level nimrods are about to solve the cheap gas issue with their $0.23 rape of the state's populace.
I agree the roads are shit, but if the state nimrods had not squandered all the money they HAD, the roads would not be in this condition. If you honestly think that the new 23 cent tax will go to the roads program, sit back and watch. I bet they find a way to divert 50% of the cash raised to our already bloated pension system, corrupt unions, and whatever else Christy-creme needs cash for. We are so majorly overtaxed as it is now, except in NJ they don't call it tax per se, it is more along the lines of fees (ie: mercantile licenses, boating licenses, cross-the-street license) everything good has a state/local fee attached to it.The gas tax hasn't been raised in YEARS and the roads are shit. What would you rather do?

Back when I used to commute to work at 4:00am with a 2 hour drive I think it was taking sips of coffee that kept me awake and aliveIs decaf okay?
No more cops stopping for free DD coffeeThis is just plain dumb. Cops will need to stare into cars for coffee cups!? I understand why they'd want to do this but to enforce it will be ridiculous!
