lol, no...I'm registered for Eats but haven't logged to complete any trips as yet.
Went to the green light hub to pick up a bag but they were out of stock.
Take it there aren't any surges with Uber Eats ?
yup! look at this...I recently did few trips in the brisbane area. The pay is not good for what you do. Accept Ping --- Drive to location -- Park --- walk to the place --- Pickup food -- then find out the drop location --- start the car --- drive --- stop -- get out -- and delivery the food.
All this and the pay - not good !!
Welcome to uber worldGave it a try ( with incentives ), extra $2 a delivery. Now with incentives at $3 from 12-2pm and 6-9pm I may still do it. No incentives and not a chance, it is very time consuming and very bad pay!! Lucky to make $15 hr after expenses...
Yes i know dead kms everywhere. Even on my petrol miser bike im at a loss doing it i know it..Is anyone doing uberEATS deliveries in a car on the Gold coast or am I the only one?
Getting a lot of pings 15mins/10km + to pick up point...
Yep i feel that pain its a joke. You should be able to select an area boundaries of operation even if it means less pings.. im over driving up and down the coast with this racket for 2km trips from pickup too. Absolute extortion it is. Very customer and uber geared completely.I started doing it in the last two weeks, and I have to say it is laughable how they are expecting people to do this long term.
I usually hang around Broady. Got in to Broadbeach Sat night, get a ping to drive 10km to Burleigh.... for a delivery in Burleigh like 2km from the store.
This happens way too often and I don't want to decline because I will get cut off. When the pick up distance is twice the delivery distance there is a problem.
Especially since we already get less pay here.
And the fact that we are in the Incentive for businesses period, and it is this bad already. This will not last.
