I'm registered for Eats but haven't logged to complete any trips as yet.
Went to the green light hub to pick up a bag but they were out of stock.
Take it there aren't any surges with Uber Eats ?

Gave it a try ( with incentives ), extra $2 a delivery. Now with incentives at $3 from 12-2pm and 6-9pm I may still do it. No incentives and not a chance, it is very time consuming and very bad pay!! Lucky to make $15 hr after expenses...

I started doing it in the last two weeks, and I have to say it is laughable how they are expecting people to do this long term.

I usually hang around Broady. Got in to Broadbeach Sat night, get a ping to drive 10km to Burleigh.... for a delivery in Burleigh like 2km from the store.

This happens way too often and I don't want to decline because I will get cut off. When the pick up distance is twice the delivery distance there is a problem.

Especially since we already get less pay here.

And the fact that we are in the Incentive for businesses period, and it is this bad already. This will not last.

Yep i feel that pain its a joke. You should be able to select an area boundaries of operation even if it means less pings.. im over driving up and down the coast with this racket for 2km trips from pickup too. Absolute extortion it is. Very customer and uber geared completely.

Brisbane used to be like this too.

I think it is better than the alternative, which is either driving around or camping at a restaurant with your thumb up your ass and no money coming in because there's too many drivers.

Do they have hourly guarantees on GC or no? I'd do the extra dead km for hourly guarantee. I've never seen a ping more than 20mins, but the one I did see I left alone.

They claim the 30 per hr gross before they take their hit, during peak times on the coast. Its utter bullshit and has never happened for myself ever. Its simply a lie and marketing drawcard to lure ppl in to sign up as they did throw this one out there in a big way at their hub during sign up process.

Reality is we make jackshit, actually make losses, take risks and basically **** ourselves to this slave labour and they make a fortune in their tax free haven. I hope they get tumbled somehow.
