Does anyone think this is a good idea?

I don't want to deliver people anymore.

So.i am thinking of moving food deliveries with an good fast life ng range electric bike.

What do.you all think?

I know that bikes are stolen often.

 

I think it's a good idea. Low operating costs, easy parking, and a simple bolt lock should keep your bike from getting stolen. Since you're never more than a few minutes away from your bike while doing the delivery, I doubt a thief would have time to cut the lock or carry it away far enough for you to not catch up with them.

 

There are daily posts for stolen bicycles in my city, so I wouldn't do this. Plus, you cannot carry much on a bike.

 

I'm pretty sure walking and cycling are illegal in LA.

I guess if you don't pay for rent/utilities, this would be profitable. If you're supporting a household, it's not a viable option.

How about a electric motorcycle like that instead of a bike.

 

ebikes are better, imo
you can park it on the sidewalk.

get one of these for big orders.

Hi, what did you decide finally? I'm disappointed after 3 years of wasting time... Probably, food or smth like it delivery is the way for me. Firstly I was thinking about the usual bike, but we got a lot of crimes dedicated to that too

I just came from Scotland and saw some of those dudes using Ebikes. Not sure if they worked for just one company so they can have a certain range from their restaurant they work but in a downtown type area, it seems it would make some sense. I personally would be too frustrated to work food especially where there are too many apartments and no parking available.
