How can that possibly be? I hope you were the only rider and the driver got paid the $2.62 minimum. No they're lower than ever. Lyft shared was 0.88c to get to work today. Yes I tipped. But still that's just ridiculous
He was too lazy to walk 50 feetHow can that possibly be? I hope you were the only rider and the driver got paid the $2.62 minimum.
Not only taxi rate of 1979 for the driver but BUS rate of 1984 for pax!No they're lower than ever. Lyft shared was 0.88c to get to work today. Yes I tipped. But still that's just ridiculous
The state has already acknowledged the IC designation is bogus.No. They don't care. They don't have to pay for our gas.
Uber has already said in print that driving in Los Angeles is not worth it and that is why they lowered the rates. If you choose to drive in LA then it is your choice as a independent contractor.
WHAT?!?No they're lower than ever. Lyft shared was 0.88c to get to work today. Yes I tipped. But still that's just ridiculous
Yep they're running a discount I'm sure something to do with their IPOThe state has already acknowledged the IC designation is bogus.
Do you have a link to the source where Uber makes that statement?
WHAT?!?
That is just my interpretation of what they said. Their quote can be found somewhere here in the LA/OC forum. The state has already acknowledged the IC designation is bogus.
Do you have a link to the source where Uber makes that statement?
Looks like q2 will be another huge loss for Lyft
Lol. They're trying to break the billion dollar mark in losses so they can look as big as Uber.Yep they're running a discount I'm sure something to do with their IPO
Could you imagine how pissed you'd be getting that ride you might make 25c if lucky!
Nope. Lyft loses if he was the only rider. Drivers get a $2.62 minimum, sharted or regular.Could you imagine how pissed you'd be getting that ride you might make 25c if lucky!
Doesnt work like thatBy claiming a loss, these companies will make more money as they tax write off the loss and pass on that savings to investors. Tax tricks big corporations play by using the amazing laws passed by Congress. The only people losing money are the drivers.
