Since at least last summer there was a promotion for every 5 Uber eats delivery. It was $30 until just before Christmas, then dropped down to $20... But it's been a constant every week since then. Now it's just gone, no warning whatsoever. It's not even worth doing Uber eats deliveries anymore for $3-$4 a piece... If they don't bring it back I'm going to door dash, because that extra $20 for every 5 deliveries is the only reason I stuck with Uber in the first place.

I actually haven't seen that promotion in about 4 months on my app. My guess is it is gone for good now. I imagine they now have an ample number of drivers willing to deliver for $3.00. I guess there are a lot of desperate drivers out there. So sad.

Really?!?! Suffolk county, Long Island? That's crazy if you haven't had it the whole time... That's just not right. Uber is a total disaster. They take advantage of every one of their "partner" drivers, it's honestly ****ing disgusting. I started driving for them out of desperation, but I'll be damned if I'm grabbing my ankles and barely breaking even on gas money. It's funny too because I drove yesterday before I realized that the bonus was gone, and I was able to do 15 trips on a Monday... I NEVER get that many on a Monday night! So if there were that many available, that means there were less delivery drivers than usual... So hopefully this hits Uber in the pockets, because that's the only way they ever give a shit.

Very sad to see this go. Just isn’t worth it to do Uber in Long Island without the promotion quest. The gas is too costly and it’s all driving. Three dollars barely covers your gas. Without the $20 for five you’re basically volunteering to deliver the food and take the abuse from the restaurant wait for free. Then you get the added bonus of wear and tear on your car. Nice move Uber ?

Uner has gone public and they warned before ipo that in order to make profit they are getting out of all driver's promotions . What a brilliant company!! Waiting to see them bankrupt
They boasted about incredible Eats growth to pump up the IPO, but reality now is their competitors are doing better as the crazy Uber subsidies have dried up. Losing exclusivity for McDs is just one step in the end stage.
