This is not a place to discuss the up front fare extortion. It is already being discussed in plenty of other threads. This thread is a repository for everyone to post their Fare Details screenshots so that we can document the severity of the scam as a group.

Today, Uber rolled back both the iPhone and Android driver apps, so we can no longer see Fare Details. The "Uber Fee" in these old screens is fake. So we know that Uber has realized they need to hide this information from us. DON'T LET THEM. This data could come in handy for enterprising news journalists or lawyers down the road.

Please feel free to share this with folks from other regions outside of Los Angeles / OC.

Clarification: If you don't know what I'm referring to, we're looking for trips where Uber's "Service Fee" is far greater than the 20-25% commission that drivers used to get.

At this point, I actually don't want them to change things up.

Of course, the large scale outcome of this will be insane pricing that will rape newbies but not savvy drivers.

This is what uber wants, they want to increase their estimate algorithm by route proof from drivers, at which point only the newbie will be ****ed.

Knowing drivers drop like flies out of uber, they know they will eventually bank on the newbs.

It's all design.

We are getting scammed left and right and back and forth and up and down. Everywhere you turn uBer is scamming us. A few cents here, a few dollars there. It all adds up and everyone was telling me to stop complaining. I will stop once uBer starts treating us fairly which that friggin 180 days is almost up.
