Do you take 407 when cx requests ?

Uber charges them, you'll be paid Transponder based charges at the end of the Trip.

I have a transponder and I take all the time (with pax in my car). Just don't take if you're going to pick up the pax.

So get a transponder asap.
So rule is never take 407 unless they request ? Or do you take it regardless ?

I assume uber is basing 407 on god location ?

You take it all the time even when pax didn't even ask you? If app tells you to go on 407 without pax request you, you still do it?

As a courtesy I ask.

I go. No ones ever complained. Just remind them it was in the upfront pricing. It saves my time.

You get paid for it, it's faster. Why wouldn't you take it? If faster route includes 407 then uber already charged them for it.

I use waze and have it set to avoid 407
I can't get used to the Uber app.

I need to make some adjustments ...

Here's what I do:
Start trip and check route suggested by Uber
If route on Uber shows 407, I don't say one single word
If Pax says something, I just answer whatever they received when the ride was requested, that's what they will pay.
If 407 is not suggested by Uber, I ask pax consent. I try to explain the time saving thing. Never received a complain.

When you swipe Start Trip just look at the route Uber gives you. If it includes the 407 then take the 407. Your car will thank you.
