Do you hear pax's cameras too?

Seems like almost EVERY time I pickup a female pax I hear the camera shutter on their phone.
Is there some movement to photograph Uber drivers for safety? Can't find an advice link anywhere online.

I hear shutters a lot, especially in Palm Springs, it's very popular to take Uber selfies.

I thought that was what I was hearing too. However, I think that sound is actually from the passenger putting their iPhones to sleep, not taking a picture. It's a very similar sound and I've noticed it happens as they are putting their phones down. That, and the fact that there is no reason anyone would want a picture of me, lol.

I have had passengers taking selfies before but that is really obvious.

they are screen shotting the trip screen..... for bill pourpousses .. ive asked what that sound was and was told ..

Agreed. When I first started Uber I was getting really pissed off thinking they were taking pictures and almost said something to someone but it's the sound of the iphone when shutting off.

I thought it was SnapChat...? (I don't use it, but some girls were mentioning to each other what they were SnapChatting and I heard that shutter sound A LOT.)
