why is that?90% of the time you can collect a cancellation fee with a pax rated that low.
this was the case, I collected the fee, you are totally right, but the question was how the rating matters?I've noticed that the lower rated a pax is the more likely they are to not be ready within 2 mins.
101 Canal street has some of the most obnoxious passengers on the platform. They make you wait forever and then play with your radio. It's mostly trash in this building.
I took the trip. it was in front of the CVS across the TD Garden. The guy was outside smoking. He was making some signals with hands to wait for him to finish his smoke. After the second minute I wave him for goodbye. Collected the feeDid you accept that one? 3.8 and pool?
I am giving 5 even for a dollar or two. The appreciation matters.or pax tips me $5 or more.
I was thinking about how to rate pax and thinking that to keep it fair it should be a standard system. Here's some ideas.
- Pax does not put in destination, they don't care that you would like it, and they're not appreciative of the ride, -1 star
- Pax does not accurately put in pickup location, no deduction if they're close and you can work it out.
- Pax does not accurately put in pickup location by a significant amount and they aren't willing to help set it straight, -1 star
- Pax thinks you are unhappy with what you have on the radio and wants you to change it to what they like, -1 star
- Pax changes the radio without asking, -2 stars
- Pax adjusts controls in your vehicle, -3 stars
- Pax expects water, snack, or anything else for free, -2 stars
- Pax causes a 2 minute wait after arrival, -1 star
- Pax causes a 3-5 minute wait and does not appreciate your wait, -2 stars
- Pax causes a 5+ minute wait, does not offer to compensate you for wait, -3 stars
Basically this for me.I only give 5 star either if pax are super nice and made me wait less than 2 min, or pax tips me $5 or more, or if pax was waiting outside before even I arrrived. Other than that every pax get 4 star or less depending on their attitude. I have rated lot of 1 star to my pax lately , I think they were mad because of surge but it's not my problem.
Wow that's the lowest I have ever seen I had a 4.14 recently some kid from England 1 star lol
aka: LYFTAs far as the waiting situation goes, that could and should be fixed by Uber and other TNCs by starting "the meter" at 5 minutes after the driver arrives at the pin drop. Make sure the pax app displays the "meter" running, and the dollars and cents slowly going up as time passes. Having to pay $ before they're even in the car will motivate most pax to get moving, and to communicate clearly where they're at in apartment complexes to keep that meter time down. It also benefits TNCs to motivate pax to be on time, so that the driver can earn them additional per-ride revenue.
5 mins? With the app showing where the car is on route, how many cars are nearby before even request a ride, etc there is no reason why the pax shouldn't be outside in 1 min. I think 2 mins is a reasonable amount of time to wait. More than that upaid is rediculous at the current rates. As far as the waiting situation goes, that could and should be fixed by Uber and other TNCs by starting "the meter" at 5 minutes after the driver arrives at the pin drop.
