Nevermind that you can find it on your cell phone. Carry a hard copy of Uber's liability insurance in your glove compartment.

In the event of an accident while "Ubering" it is easier to pull this out, and the PD may want to see the hard copy.

Be advised Uber's insurance does not cover your expenses (collision, comp, medical). I realize there is coverage contingent on if your personal ins pays zero or denies the claim.

You risk your insurance being cancelled. Your insurance carrier can blacklist you so other carriers can see you were not properly insured for transporting people for money. Call it anything you want; you are operating a vehicle-for-hire to transport people, otherwise called a taxi.

I am driving infrequently on the platformX until I have commercial insurance, which will cover my personal driving, in place to cover me.

Thanks You for
ThreadStarting on THIS Topic in THIS
SubForum, with the Addition of a Hyper-

I can hardly wait for the Inevitable

TY. Is is good to hear a positive reply today. Too much bickering on a few other threads.
chi1cabby has felt
MANY DAYS over the last 16+ months!
If you G-A-S then the downside is Argita.
At least You've avoided "Double Secret
Probation". At the 3 month mark The
Bison and I had gotten 2 warnings AND
a 1 week Ban, so "good on You" for NOT
having THAT distinction.

BTW: Thanks for filling a Sizeable Gap
in my Support Network. It means a LOT.
Don't be afraid that you're "missing out"
if you "Ignore" any particular Member.
I've gone back & forth on a Few. A Few
Dozen are "Permanenters" but their
lack of staying power has them, thank-
fully, annoying People Elsewhere, HA!

If I CAN, I'll keep my UNGULATIONS
in Other Threads. Peace & Quiet is my
Preferred M.O. [about 500 Members are
going "WTF!?!" and another 500 are
Losing Bladder control-while-laughing.]

Peaceable Bison: I do try.

I ignore a member when I am getting frustrated.

"Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit."

Peace!
The Ignore feature is powerful. I tend to watch 4 or 5 posts and if the tone, response, advice becomes predictable (i.e. propaganda) I tend to ignore. I welcome opposing views, it is the only way to learn and validate your own beliefs. Thankfully, I have only had to ignore 2 posters and that is not bad at all.

This link lists all the individual states. Click on the one that applies to you. It will have a policy showing amount per person/accident, another policy for the $1M umbrella.
The link in the first post contained certificates for California drivers.
