So started to drive last night and message pops up that the new update is available, I think what the heck since I was driving on the highway to the "boost" spots, the phone just froze the uber button on "waiting" I turned off the phone like 5 times nothing changed, tried everything still nothing, glad I had the app on my own phone as well because it's been 9 hours and it's still on "waiting" The uber phone has never given me problems, it's the update im betting. Anyone else have the same trouble/fix?

If your phone is frozen take the battery out. Then put it back in. turn off your data and only use Wi-Fi how to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. Then reboot your phone. And then try to turn the app on again.

I know. I had to reboot my Iphone last night because it kept freezing. It's the first time in over 3 months that I have rebooted. Now compare that to my last Android where I had to reboot EVERY DAY, if not 3-5 TIMES A DAY.

Why is anyone still using an uber provided phone? Send that uber phone back COD and stop giving money to uber. They already take a big enough cut of the fares.
