Do you offer Aux cords to your PAX?

Just starting driving. Doing ok. I have an aux jack. Do you find a lot of passengers ask to use it? How do you feel when passengers ask for the AUX cord? Do you tell them no? Do you notice any tips or better ratings when you do?

I don't get anyone asking anymore. The odd 20 something douchbag will ask with his 3 friends going 2 minutes down the road. I just tell them the last pax broke it yesterday. I dont bother with aux cord anymore unless they are going longer than 20km away.

I just don't have one.... if they ask why, I tell them that I had it stolen the previous night and apologize and say I haven't had a chance to replace it.

In reality I don't like loud music while driving. I find it distracting and dangerous when I have riders in my car.
Stop stealing my excuses. They might think we are reading from an Uber script. Lol

Then they ask for Bluetooth and I tell them that sorry I can't pair a device while driving (which is true).

I did for one guy when I first started and my car still asks me if I want to pair Seanu's Blackberry every time I connect my Bluetooth. I have no idea how to get rid of that.

My pairing works the same way. Can't do it while in gear.

My Aux port is in the center console under the armrest. There's always a cable plugged into it with the other end outside, freely available. 'Hey can I use your aux cable?' 'Ya bro/kitten plug in, it's ready to go'. Stereo automatically switches to the Aux input when it senses a source. I don't do a damn thing except pretend to enjoy rap music :)

Uber is all about copy and paste answers, why should we be any different? Gotta keep the brand consistent.

I don't have one though I let someone pair their bluetooth today for their 20 minute trip, we had fun to be honest, pretty great trip all around.

Otherwise I haven't been asked for water, gum, mints, aux at all yet.

I have spotify playlists they can choose from or if they're nice I'll put spotify online and they can play anything they want by voice. The bonus to this is if the music is from my phone I can control the volume by having it set low on my phone. The car says it's maxed but it's not even close - aka no ruining my speakers.

The ones that want their own tunes use their own headphones
You should see the rider reactions to the sound and volume of the stock Equinox LTZ stereo with aftermarket Infinity Kappa door speakers, Infinity sub and Alpine amps installed. Makes this middle-aged driver look cool to the youngans :)

Headphones? Nobody needs no stinkin headphones :p

I find bluetooth sound quality to be really low anyhow - never use it. Need a direct connection for quality sound. Plus like the rest of you, it doesn't work when you're driving.
