So I got Gold status this week. But my email didn't include LA county Non-core. Anyone else get the same thing? I guess I will find out for sure ay 3pm from my app

Im non core too and only got boosts for the core. Same thing happened last week. I used to get non core boosts but I think they are doing away with non core incentives.

Its been surging off and on lately. Yesterday I caught a sweet X surge, 2.4x from La Puente to Corona in the afternoon

I'm not bothering with non-core this week unless the area is surging. That shouldn't be much of a problem in some places like the S.F. Valley or Pasadena, but Azusa and West Covina can kick rocks.

I feel you, but I live in the I.E. and base-rate Pools from Baldwin Park aren't gonna pay for my dead miles.

Uber has drivers by the balls. medal drivers have to drive non core. uber has set a quota for them in order to receive incentives. platinum must do 75 trips. this quota not only ensures that you stay online but that you drive even if you end up in non core area. this is why you still see drivers online in non core for base rates. genius.

Honestly, it depends on the time of day that I drive. During the day, it's usually not too far. Later in the evening though I'll either get a ride taking me to north Orange County or the valley cities off of the 210. If I continue driving there, I will usually end up in the core. But I hate driving the core. Especially at night on a Saturday.
