Many of us are educating pax on how crappy Pool is, and they should
instead opt for X.

Pax wants to make a quick beer run on the way to their final destination?

Nope. Sorry. This is a POO trip.

Pax wants to change destinations mid trip?

Nope. Sorry. This is a POO trip.

Pax wants to stop at Taco Bell and get a Chalupa?

Nope. Sorry. This is a POO trip.

Pax wants me to just make 'one exception' and allow an overage
to the max allowed passengers for a Pool ride?

Nope. Sorry. This is a POO trip.

Pax wants to pile 5 bags into the back of my car on their way to the airport?

Nope. Sorry. This is a POO trip.

Personally, I've taken a lot of 1* ratings for the benefit of all drivers in
standing my ground and not letting pax walk all over me in regards to
Pool trips.

Pool is NOT an X trip, and we are no longer your 'personal driver' during POO.

It's A to B and that's it.

Next time you are on the city bus, tell the driver that you would like him to
make a quick run through McDonalds before taking you home.

Take note of the look he gives you.

That should be the exact same look you as a driver give pax when they ask
you to go through the drive-through on a POO ride.

I got $100 in cancels last week between Uber/Lyft (some were X/Lyft).

The only good part about Poo is that passengers are mostly completely oblivious to the 2 minute rule (this also means willful ignorance to the litany of other rules).

Used to be the same for me.

Recently, however, nearly all my POO pax seem to be fast to arrive to my ride.

I guess they can only flush so many $5 bills down the toilet before changing their habits.

I use a smart watch to start the timer as soon as the notified message comes up. That's when Uber starts their clock. I use a smart watch for this to avoid the seconds from switching between apps.; It also helps to incognito time pax who might find it a bit odd that you're timing them.
