What's forced pool?
If you are in an active Pool trip, additional trips will be added automatically. You can't decline them. Welcome to Pool hell.
That's not true, at least for me. I still get a regular 9 second ping for the second passenger

Forced Pool to me sounds like Uber giving it to us over a barrel ..
Yes, I have to accept it too. It doesn't add automatically.

So, with the new uberX fixed rides. What if you take the wrong turn, a mile is added to the trip, you pretty much won't get that extra mile huh? OR the pax tells you to take a certain way, which may be longer in miles, than what the uber app calculates originally? This is hell!

It's coming your way my friend. Trust me
Listen guys and gals. Don't accept Uber stools, you must understand it's a form of robbery. Abusing your car and time...

Uber ABOLISHED 2.4X
It's the beginning of the end for incentives
It's the beginning of the end for incentives
The Golden Age of Heavy Metal Incentives is fast vanishing right before our eyes in our rear view mirrors. Uber's goal is no surges, no incentives, no UberXs and only stools with driver-less cars!!
Keep in mind that while this program does put decent money in people's pockets it also makes a lot of folks financially dependent on it. Good number of drivers will remain on the platform once the incentives are pulled especially those with uber lease cars and no secondary income

But if the incentives are pulled the surges will return..
Sure but do you not remember what a pain it was to chase surges? By the time you get there, surge shifts or you will be right in the heart of it and get no pings because pax wait it out. Just because it's surging doesn't mean you will get any of it

I'm on the Xchange Lease Program. If they kill the Metal Bonuses program, unless they add something comparable, I give them two weeks notice then Asta La Vista... A.M.F.

you can reject them, uber can't deactivate you for declining rides now
they keep on automatically adding them for me. Did like 13 pools today n maybe only 2 uberx but luckily very chill paxs today. No drama. A pax today told me uber only charges them a flat $3 per pool ride! bt i always get diff numbers on my end :/ though most are $1.60. Good old days when uberx from arlington to dc used to be $25-35... miss those days now :(

That's great but many drivers can't afford to give up their car or it might be their only means of getting into a newer vehicle
It makes me giggle when I get a ping 25 minutes away from a low rated POIl pax outside of the incentive zone. At that point you know at least another dozen drivers turned down that request..
