For the first time since incentives started I have not got an "invitation" this week. My rating is 4.85 and my acceptance rate is usually 90%. I don't know what Uber is trying to accomplish but I assuming they have created a habit for us to drive certain hours and now they expect us to continue driving those same hours without paying extra. I really had a hard time driving the 3-7PM shift MO-FRI, because traffic is horrible and I managed only to get 2 rides per hour. This morning I didn't go out between 7-9AM because I wasn't that motivated without an incentive to sit there for $10 dollars and hour. Hence, I am seriously considering going back to Lyft because of the tips and the 10-20% incentive they offer. I don't know what the criteria is to select drivers for the Earning Boost but the only person I know that got it is a very close friend of mine and he has a 4.96 rating and he drives a lot consistently. There is no logic to the incentive invites. I have been getting it consistently since it started and was hoping that they don't send this week so I can keep off the roads but golly, they sent it again. I work 5-7, 10-12 then weekend nights. Never morning , never Sunday. I consistently hit 75 or 100 peak rides. My rating is 4.84 with acceptance rate of average 94%. Funny thing is ever since I started telling my riders how horrible it is to drive for uber, I have seen my ratings rise steadily from 4.81. Fudge the king! Fudge the realm!
