I got through but I'm still in pending status. Both times it took me about 40-50 calls. The only thing I can recommend to get you through faster if you're not already doing this. When you call in you press 1 for English, it talks about pandemic benefits then you press 2 for no then you get another recording that you can't press anything to skip through, which explains when to file. So basically what I'm saying is this... The options you need to press are the following.. Again this is only if you need to finish filing your claim.

1- Call 888-209-8124
2-Immediately press 1 for English when they start talking
3- He so start talking about pandemic insurance as soon as he starts talking press 2
4- You will then listen to info about when to claim you can't skip this part once done press 9 for main menu
5- Again man starts talking press any key to bypass and immediately enter in social, he will start to verify. Immediately press 1 to say yes it's correct
6- He talks once again and you press 2 to complete the claim.

I'm guessing some people listen to entire message before accepting, I did it the way I just described and got through with no more than 50 calls each time

Or press 2 for Spanish!
I know at least 4 guys who couldn't get through, successfully speak to an agent by selecting 2 Spanish. You don't even have to know how to speak Spanish, ALL of them are bi-lingual anyways!

It's impossible for me. I got through a few times but the system doesn't connect me with a live agent. It always asks me how many days I worked and once I put number it automatically denies me without giving me a chance to speak with an agent unless I lie.
You started the claim online? Then you got an email asking you to call and complete by taking to a telephone claims specialist? If so what you wrote above shouldnt of ever came up. You need to file online, use Google Chrome and then you complete it by speaking to claim representative. When you certify for weekly benefits just do it online.

I tried it online 1st but it was the same. I already had an account there. I used to get UI years ago and so the profile was already created. Once I log in there it asks me how many days I worked and because I have a part time job I put the number of days and it automatically denies me. I wanted to speak with an agent but it seems to be impossible.

That's why you can't get through because you haven't filed first and answered all the questions. Go online now and try. Go to file a new claim, your old claim in no longer valid. Once you do it online then you can call tomorrow and do what I said above and you will be good to go and hopefully approved asap! Read the highlighted section at the top it how to answer a few questions for self employed. Once you have done that go on Uber site and print out your 1099 write down your name and social on top right hand side and fax to 5184850324.

I didn't find a way to start new application with new questionnaires. I'll try again. I'm reading another thread now where users say they updated the website and now you can apply for PUA separately. Let's see.

it will be under online forms. when you click online forms on the left hand side you will see option for pandemic insurance. click that and complete the form. hopefully that helped you.

You only apply for pua if you're denied unemployment
That's exactly for me. I was denied for UI.

Found it and almost completed but not sure how to answer to this question:

"Including self-employment, did you work?"

I worked for my PT job but didn't work as a self-employed for uber/lyft. What would be the correct answer?
