Happened to me yesterday in San Diego. Went online, then tried 4-5 times. Finally, it accepted the destination.

What I am wondering is why they are becoming such Nazis about its use? Why offer something as a benefit and function if it can only be used every other Thursday from 2:33-2:35 AM?

I never use destination filter. Not everyone is going the same direction I'm going. They still deserve a ride

I don't know why they block the destination filter it rarely works, meaning it rarely takes you the direction you want to go.

I put a destination the other day from Los Feliz to Burbank specifically to avoid LAX rides I get to the customer I see she has a suitcase and was going to LAX.

Took a fare from OC to SD the other day. Was given a "free extra destination" for 15 minutes. The DF wouldn't stick.

I used to use the destination filter while near LAX to keep them from giving me rejected que rides at half rate.

Worked like a charm.

I didn't give a shit if it sent me in the wrong direction as long as I wasn't get .32ed to death.
