Does anyone else still have the destination filter on their app? Mine disappeared last night about 8 o'clock and it's still not there. I drive Select and Excel only I don't know if that makes a difference.
The destination filter is my bread and butter. I use it every single day and if whoever is taking this away intentionally I'm going to be furious.

Harleyfxdx1 says it's gone from Lyft too - I'm not on Lyft.

SO... this is one of two things: 1) a glitch in the software that provides the service that both companies use or 2) a monopolistic conspiracy where the two companies are working together to screw their employees.

I don't know if anybody else feels as strongly about this as I do but this sucks and will drastically affect my income. I hope that everyone will bombard both companies with emails and demand that they give it back to us. Please include in your correspondence that this is a safety issue so that drivers can get home safely if they're tired after a long shift.

Guys, maybe I'm the only one who uses this to make money, but it's not funny to me. Is no one else angry about this? Here's what I emailed Uber and, if you are as mad about this as me, I hope you will all send a similar email to Uber and Lyft.
"Hi Uber,
I use the Destination Filter everyday to ensure that I can get my passengers to their destination safely at the end of my shift. Many drivers who have been working a long day use the filter to get home and ensure that they are not inadvertently taken to a far away location so that they are not then forced to drive while tired and endanger their passengers or themselves.

I am not seeing this feature on the app - please advise when it will be working again."

Here is what I got from Uber - thanks guys for updating here if you do see it come back on:
"Thanks for reaching out, HOMERDRIVER. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

We know that it can be frustrating when you're not able to set your destination. We apologize if you can't see the Destinations feature in your app.

Upon checking on our resources, we can confirm that it is 100% live in your city.

Let us do some troubleshooting steps here. Just follow the procedures below:
- Force quit the app (not reinstalling, but to force quit).
- Android swipe App away at offline stage.
- Make sure that you're offline.
- Launch the recent applications menu.
- Find Uber Driver app.
- Tap and hold on the application and swipe it to the right.
- Navigate to the Apps tab in settings if your phone's still running slow.
- If swiping does not work, you can try "force stopping".
- Open the Settings app.
- Click on "Apps".
- Find "Uber Driver" and click on it.
- Click "Force Quit".

If the above steps does not work for you, just send us a message.

We appreciate your patience as we work hard to make Uber an even better platform for you.

If we can answer any other questions for you in the meantime, please let us know.

I also got this reply from Judy on support on the app.:
"Our team is aware of this issue. We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it as quickly as we can."
SIGH!! I am praying that this is true and that they're working to fix it. If that is the case, please accept my apologies for the false alarm. I'm sure none of you will blame me for being paranoid about this company we all work for. Or sort of work for, whatever it is we are.

Please explain for a new driver how the destination filter works. Thanks.
Hi Mango,
If you want to go home at the end of your shift, you can click on the three bars that used to be there at the top left of your phone and choose "set a destination," then put in your home address. The app will then only look for rides going in that direction. You can only do this twice a day. Also, it doesn't guarantee that your ride will go all the way to your destination, just in that direction.

I just checked mine and it is there... I also did an app update this morning, so not sure if that was a fix as I didn't check it last night.
Mine is still not there - did everything they told me from support to do with the forced stop bs, and also uninstalled and reloaded the app last night and again just now it's still not there.
