Just gave a ride to a woman who told me another driver told her a friend of his who drives for Uber in NYC makes $5K/wk on 80 hours.

I told her that doesn't sound matbematically possible. But never mind that--I can't imagine driving 80 hours a week. That's maybe 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Pure insanity.

How are you doing that on just three days? When (times) and where do you drive? If you have a FT job, I don't see how you can be driving the busiest hours, which is the minimum you'd need to pull $600 on three days. But hey, you tell me.

I'm not surprised. There are drivers who have posted in other threads driving full time making $25/hour AFTER expenses.
