EV batteriies run $5,000-20,000 for a new battery packk and about 1/3rd to 1/2 as much $1,500-$10,000 reconditioned.

That's a MASSVIE undertaking frm a financial sense, equivlant to blowing an engine.

Many used EVS have crap batteriies that need replaced ASAP. Posssibly costing more than the value of the car.

A reconditioned Tesla Model3 battery is sold at tgreentech or $485 a month for 21 months, with a 50,000 mile 4 year warranty, or i you're driving uber/lyft full time 9-12 month warranty.

$10,000 for a battery with a 9-12 month warranty (Like I said driving full time).

Battry swapss on EVs are eequvilant to 3 years worth of oil changes and half a dozen major engine issuess in one go.

This is on top of the away from home chargng more than gasoline.

TLDR EVs are only low mantainance until your battery goes. Then you get hit wth all of the mantainance at once.
I'm not sure about this but I think the government had instituted 8-year 100,000 mile warranty on all electric Fields vehicles
