How do you guys offset your dead miles? Had a pick up around the Nats stadium all the way out to manassas, and since I can't pick up in VA got a long ass ride back

I would wright down millage from PAX house to my house and use that as right off on taxes.

Did you stay online and keep driving when you got back to MD/DC or did you go offline? If the former I would just keep the mileage counter running since you were working and every mile counts.

If you have a home office you can write off all miles to and from home for your business I believe I have no tax authority but that's what I've read.

Just have to eat the dead miles and find the fastest way back to DC . Out of all the rides I do very few went to Virginia and when they did they were decent fares and I just took the fastest route back to DC since I didn't like to drive in Virginia. You'll get stuck once in a while like yesterday but that's part of the way it works. Overall it won't happen much
