I was deactivated from Uber this morning.

Their justification was because I used a headshot that I had taken for me by my employer as my Uber driver photo. This headshot "did not match with the driver validation pictures" that I was taking. Apparently, Uber had "multiple Uber staff review your photo" and "all determined that your pictures are fraudulent."

This is funny because the headshot was taken in September 2018 (6 months ago) and I am the only one who has ever been in the selfie they require.

Uber is a very well-run company!

Yeah well all those reviewers in Southeast Asia are real adept at facial recognition.

I have a feeling that a trip to Saugus will rectify the situation.

A trip to Saugus won't work. Uber are getting rid of 20% drivers for newer drivers at 25%. They did the same thing to me.
