I was deactivated from Uber this morning.
Their justification was because I used a headshot that I had taken for me by my employer as my Uber driver photo. This headshot "did not match with the driver validation pictures" that I was taking. Apparently, Uber had "multiple Uber staff review your photo" and "all determined that your pictures are fraudulent."
This is funny because the headshot was taken in September 2018 (6 months ago) and I am the only one who has ever been in the selfie they require.
Uber is a very well-run company!
