So I don't really plan on driving for Uber very much, probably just for taking some co-workers to and from the airport.

I just got an email from Uber saying that tomorrow my account will be wait listed because my Dallas Vehicle Permit is missing. Well, is it the sticker (decal) that we need to take a picture of and put on there?? I took a pic of the blue card and posted it, but I guess that is not what is needed...

I am waiting until my registration renewal comes in the mail before I go get my sticker...

Can somebody confirm what pic they want??

Thanks,
Chris

I'm fairly certain they want both the Dallas city driver permit (blue card), as well as the Dallas city vehicle inspection sticker (window sticker).

Note that I'm confident this policy change is directly related to their ****up with the sexual assault driver from a couple weeks ago.

I do wonder how this will affect drivers Plano/Frisco/Fort Worth, etc.

I realize what the permit "permits" you to drive, lol.

My curiosity is if Uber's system is smart enough to ALLOW a non-Dallas permit holder to pick up rides OUTSIDE of the Dallas city area. The city of Plano could give 2 ****s if you have a city of Dallas permit.
