And they wonder why they think they're targeted when checks take place in central London, and moan about it on Twitter - where more black taxis are stopped than PH in the city and West end.

I don't know about new drivers but as I mentioned on this forum many months ago that they use algorithms at the airport, which give priority to drivers who have actually dropped off there, which is a good thing as it makes sure that they get a job back, otherwise an airport on its own is not really worth it, but they should inform all their drivers of this arrangement, and while we are on the subject, I also suspect that the same algorithms also looks after those drivers with a better job acceptance rate on the day by giving them juicier jobs, but it's just a theory and i can't prove it
