Does anyone understand how this actually works? I did 5 trips in the zone this morning consecutively and got a whopping $3. I was expecting up to $18. I've called uber support and they told me they've passed it on to the local team. So no answer from them. I'm guessing many of you are experiencing similar issues.

I did 3 and cut it off to see what the payout would be and I got nothing. Have been trading messages with support and still no resolution. It's a foolish incentive because when they "add" a trip while your finishing your current ride you can now longer see the main page of the app in between rides so we have no idea what $ is.

Silly time.

Yeah, just a lot of back and forth. One of them mentioned if the surge was higher than the boost then there would be no payout. Just a lot of ambiguity on their end. So, I'll only take multiple pools if I'm going for an incentive. Other than that I'll just be hitting the stop new requests button. It's real simple, if there's no real incentive beyond what we see for surge and boost pricing.....then don't take the rides.

I had a laughable and painful exchange of emails with support over the consecutive trip bonus a couple weeks ago that included getting the same 2 cut a paste email responses from 3 different times. They are now ignoring me and have not responded to my last 2 emails. I also haven't seen a text or email from Uber about any new consecutive trip bonus since then. Maybe I've been taken off that list. Uber support is an f'n joke.

The way it works is the counter counts up as you drive around between rides. If you are getting 3 requests in a row without much time in between them, your bonus will not be very high. I had 3 trips in a row and my bonus was $0.40... I also had 3 trips with decent time between and got $8.69 bonus.. it's really not that hard to understand.. however, the wording in the email makes it seem like you will get close to $12 for doing 3 consecutive rides so it's a bit misleading, which isn't surprising

I posted this back when it came out. Here is a little visual:

Well, It only took me like 10 hours to put this together, but I got it. This is pretty much how the consecutive trips incentive looks like. It seems that the meter fill up the longer you wait for a ride. I got played because my first trip was to the airport and I can't pick up at the airport, so Uber's system kicks you off line on their end when I dropped off at the airport (I E-Mailed them about it, still waiting). I guess it's something Uber has to work on. I then got a second and third trip. As you can see the meter fills up to a certain amount and it maxes out and then it will continue from where it left off after dropping off the rider. I cut the picking up and dropping off of the riders.

So basically you are getting paid to wait and if there is little or no wait you get squat. Ok, that seems to explain why I'm getting so little. It is definitely misleading though as consecutive trip boost implies the more trips you complete the more you get where as you get more boost when there is more wait time and thus fewer trips.
