So I signed up for GrubHub and thought they might be better than Uber. I haven't delivered with them but they sent this terrific set of bags, shirts and a hat!

The main downfall to them is you have to reserve blocks of time and if you can't make those times, you have to find someone else to cover the time. Way different then the "come as you please" mentality with Uber.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Uber did something like this?

Nice uniform and you even can use a 2-door or compact car. However, are drivers strictly on commission or do they receive any stipend for being available for the fixed period of time?

I applied on their website- just like Uber.

From what I know you are paid a pick up fee and .50/mile but keep all tips. If you don't make a minimum of $10/hr, they contribute enough so that you walk home with at least that hourly.
