Tell me - which ones would you take. Please keep an eye out for doubles and triples. 😁 Noting Kosher places and Lakewood just so you understand what I’m constantly whining about. Closest Kosher place to me is about 6 miles.

That is really sad, out of the one's you posted the only one I would even think of even clicking on was the $15.17, finding hard to believe that someone would actually even click on the one that was $2.19

Not so good. I probably would have taken the Wawa as well. A couple of my favorites - $3.77 for 9 miles, $21.60 for 18.9 miles - this one was for 3 orders but 6 stops total! That‘s WAY too time consuming. I shoot for $2/mile as many people do, and for a double order I look for $3/mile, or you know one of them is not paying up.
I’d say Uber pays better in my area than this but I’d be lucky to see 4-5 offers in an hour.
The thing that kills me with Uber are the “order & pay” offers. I can’t seem to recognize them up front, so I always end up cancelling them and WASTING time.

I never signed up for them (shop & pay). I think you can turn them off in your settings.

As for the pings, you can safely multiply the times by 2 - driving in Lakewood is horrible. Everyone avoids it. Terrible traffic, oversaturated with stoplights and crossings, overbuilt. I understand why, but that doesn’t make it easier to drive there.

The Lakewood pings themselves are actually pretty good as a rule IF NOT for the drive to pickup. Going 6-10 miles to pickup literally kills any profit a driver can make. They need local delivery. No one’s going to go there more than once. I am usually pretty resilient, but those Lakewood pings have me near hysteria. And in that hour not one Jus by Julie ping came through. If I show you those, you’ll be traumatized.

The worst part is they flood my pings so much, I miss my Regulars. And my Regulars are very profitable.

This has been going on for months and months. At least half a year now. I try toget a grip and not whine, but sometimes it just gets really overwhelming - particularly when I NEED to make a certain amount.

So did you actually take any of these orders?
As far as shop & pay, yes I know I can turn those off, but I’m talking about restaurant orders. Every so often I get a decent order then as I look more closely, it turns out you have to go in to the restaurant, order, pay with it with the Uber black card, then wait…then deliver. I won’t do them but haven’t figured out how to recognize them up front BEFORE I accept.
A weird one I had last week came through as a package pickup and delivery. The $ was good so I took it. Turns out the “package” was lunch for four guys. No big deal. Got a $30 tip. It must have been cheaper or maybe quicker to use the package delivery option.

I didn’t. The ones mentioned had crappy locations. The Wawa one especially - complete boondocks, literally. It’d take the entire 8 miles to get back to a pingy area.

I’ve also noticed that UE frequently messes up the distance - took an 11-mile for $17 today, it ended up 17 miles. I do $1.50/mile on occasion, but $1/mile is a no from me. I was pretty pissed.

Those mile distances are so different than mine. I rarely see anything above 5 miles total, with most being 2-3 miles. Your area is small-sized townships spread out from each other. I wouldn't want to work LA or similar cities, but I need a nice dense suburb to keep the miles low.

$2.13 for 18 minutes should be illegal.

This goes back to my post about UE hearding us. I deliver in a compact, busy area. I know every busy shop here. I know they get a shitload of UE offers. I’m parked in a prime area within equal distance to all of them. But as you see from my pings, I get either pickups from Lakewood spots, or deliveries to Lakewood.

Lakewood average distance is 6-10 miles, 6 being on the border or Senior Communities.

I am seriously considering driving only Fri-Sun. AT LEAST 90% of my pings are those Lakewood ones, and they come for me anywhere I go. They reach me in Point Pleasant, and that’s pretty much 10-14 miles TO PICK UP.

I’ll show you guys Jus by Julie one day. I average 20-40 per day. I kid you not.

These aren't too bad. Where I'm at if the weather is nice, drive saturation reaches a point where you get 0 offers. But I could see someone pulling 20$/hr with your offers.

Also I was stubborn towards shop & pay myself for many years but then I finally turned it on. I believe the algorithm gives you more offers in general when you have it on. You can decline the shop & pays but compared to when I had it off I received lesser offers.

Have you tried DD? No tip baiting, amount you accept is what you get paid, sometimes a good break from the UE tipping structure.
