I plan on doing it eventually, using the Higlander, likely a Hybrid.

No,but i was also looking at the highlander.I gonna see if i have time to go ask some questions at the office about using the highlander to be eligable to accept all uber calls,except the taxi.I hoping we can accept x,xl,select,black,suv.What i am concerned over is black its city regulated so i am interested to see how its works.I wonder if uber would let us do X,XL,SELECT,SUV alone without licensed black.This area is quite unknown to me,but i will do my best to find the correct answers.

I just have registered 2014 Highlander Limited, and they only let my get X and XL calls... I gonna send them an e-mail and ask why don't they define this vehicle like select or black in my case.

Uber's list is different than the City's list. Toyota's and Honda's are not approved as select vehicles.

No suv either thats sucks let us know how things goe after the email

They answered and seems like it would not work with UBER select.
Unfortunately I'm not eligible to provide a link because of forum rules...

And you'll need a Toronto city limo license for Uber Black
