Personally, I've found that when big events are happening downtown, I make less money per hour because of all the congestion. 18 piddly cents a minute to be stuck in traffic jams is simply not worth my while.

I went out from 10pm to 11pm and got 4 paxes and $40 gross in fares. Even after all deductions, it should be a decent haul.

But then from 11-11:30 it slowed down completely, so I went home.
