If people will send me legitimate addresses for homes and buildings that are decorated nicely for the Holidays, I'll put them together on a map. I thought of this driving up Reno Rd the other night. There was a nice looking display around Van Ness.

Might give us some more creativity when we're long-routing pax...or maybe we can solicit some holiday tips from Holiday party-goers.

Send me an address, or GPS coordinates, or an intersection. I'll figure it out...mapping is what I do.

Legit photos welcomed, memes and other troll content loathed.

Wait wait wait this seems far too nice of a thing to do for you. I expected more (or less) or whatever.

Seriously tho just DC area or anywhere in MD and VA as well?

On a trip, I can't stop to figure out what information to gather and forward it to you. GPS coordinates? Not as I'm driving by, I don't think.

I pass lots of nice displays as well as cheap, overdone, gaudy ones. Was just out near Nokesville on Kettle Run and saw when passing a horsey stables (the sign said) a great display from the road all the way down the drive to the various stables all lit up, and you could see it from a mile off as you approached. Nobody's going to go see that on purpose -- it's not on the way to somewhere from anywhere -- but it was impressive as it covered several acres.

So you want the Clark Griswold Christmas Vacation type lights? The gaudy shit that people taking off from Cleveland can see?

Sadly haven't seen as many of those this year. One of my neighbors has the projector for his lights. Lazy gimp.

Oh, Lordy, the gaudy shit is all over out here. The blow up dolls, the lights running halfway up tree trunks for some strange reason, the competition being about lumens, not art, probably not about joy, either.

Typical... you dush-canoes can fill a thread gossiping about NOTHING with opinions and jokes, but you can't just post a friggin address.

I change my vote, please Dara, keeping screwing these losers...

Lol. Seriously tho I looked last night but where I was driving no lights. And where I live in MoCo none either. However, if anyone is out in Urbana,I can't recall the neighborhood but I've been there a few times (15 -25year old development and growing, huge number of homes close to each other with lights. Those would be tremendous). If anyone gets a ride there.

Unfortunately where I go lately the drug dealers have used the lights to strangle rivals.

34th street, near hampden

People make a pilgrimage there every year.

This Sat night is Parade of Lights in Annapolis.
About 40+ boats all decked out. After the parade the boats anchor or dock for Christmas season. I’ll post after I drive this weekend.

Just submitted that! Hence the picture above. It's like Mecca for those with a Christmas light fetish
