"Hmm... I see this guy all the time in this area at that time.... why won't he ever accept my rides"

Not sure how I feel about this, pax will see me accept only when there's cheese and may catch on I only drive surge runs for the most part... on X.
Oh yeah I didn't think of that. All us non-Pool acceptors will be outted. Maybe that's Uber's ultimate goal. All the bad Ants will be exposed. Lol so that means when I'm sitting somewhere ignoring ping after ping of pool requests, and if I'm in the same vicinity of the pax, I better duck and run, since if they look up and see me, they will know I'm deliberately ignoring them.

Not cool, Uber, not cool. I have been straight up told that "I'm glad you look like me." Also the endless, "I'm glad you are a woman." This just opens drivers up to more of these comments.

This is just more pressure to accept stool. It's never going to happen in my case. I refuse all stools on principle alone.

I can remember a number of times when Uber used profiling as justification for their lame and idiotic business decisions. Decisions which always negatively impacted drivers who are IC’s and should have this right.

Such as when they took away the ability:
-to choose pings based on pax destination.
-to choose pings based on pax pickup address.

Or the many times we were told they wouldn’t allow in-app tipping.

All because it would encourage drivers to give “preference” to, or profile, certain areas over other areas.

(How they knew what those areas were without any tipping data to reference showed an alarming amount of racist profiling on their part. But they were probably too busy treating their women employees badly to notice.)

So, Uber, by all means go ahead and institutionalize a system of profiling. Especially when it disenfranchises the majority of your drivers here in Seattle.

Was my first thought as well. Let's play spin the wheel of biases.

I'll never get a request again. My antennae alone will make people pass me up! I'm ruined!
The antennae may draw in the curious, and draw in more tips. Or you could try going back to your Kevin Spacey disguise, and see what kind of pax that attracts.
