I was out of town last year during the Chicago Marathon. What streets did you have easy in/out access last year? Are the rides mostly short rides back to their hotels? Is it worth it to drive Sunday morning? For the record,I almost always drive on Sunday, but wanted to see what you guys have to say about the upcoming weekend?

If you don't know how to drive the underground, just stay away. This is not the only marathon this year, so if you made it through others earlier this year, you should make it through this one. Personally, if Uber starts rallying the early ants, I might just work the suburbs and stay away. Anytime Uber starts rallying people for an event early and often, I stay away because it turns into a shit show with no surge.

i agree. i don't drive during any events because it's too much stress for the pickup and the traffic is so congested.

Don't do it. Difficult to get around. Passengers will not walk to you.

There's only like 20 people on this board. We'll live. If those virgins speak Fusha, I'll make out good. If they speak Egyptian, I'll probably stab them all for speaking false Arabic.
On my profile for the hell of it I noted that I spoke 2 other languages that I won't post on here.
Hope you guys do well on Sunday. I might try to work around the marathon.

Chicago Marathon, one of my many benefits of being unable to wake up before 1pm. It'll be over before I shower. Yey!

Hmm. Maybe just go easy and make it a Naperville area evening.

Ooh. Halloween fast approaching, should be interesting picking up adult pax in silly little costumes. Just my luck I'll get the one that can't fit in a car while in costume.
