The next time you receive your Payment Statement, check it carefully!
I recently found errors that made me lose money. Luckily, when I wrote to them, there was a kind support person that helped to rectify the problem.
I am not saying there are always errors. But because of the time lag between your actions on the phone and the servers getting your response and recording it correctly, there will be possibility of errors occuring.
Most of the times when I go offline after a few hours, the last thing I want to do is check the trip history. I was just too tired. The last thing I want to do is look at that Uber App.
In the past, I just assumed that Uber's system will be accurate and correct. But I have since learned not to take it for granted.
I urge everyone to look through their statements carefully and bring up any errors immediately. The difference can be minor or major. If their calculations are in error, making you ineligible for incentives even though you have fulfilled the conditions, the difference can mean a few hundred dollars.
