So this is partly my fault. My insurance card I had in my car expired on 03SEP, and uber had sent me a warning text telling me to update my insurance card. Being the soup sandwich I can be sometimes, I kinda let it slip but quickly changed it after uber said my account is suspended until I update my card. Later in the evening, I got my account reinstated, but it doesn't let me take XL only now. It shows two buttons with only my car type and plate #. Then I emailed uber support over this. The CSR responded within a half an hour basically asking me to confirm if I wanted to take XL only. I said yes, but now no response, and I've been waiting. I really don't want to do just X pings. Any similar experiences/advice?

this sounds strange to me. i dont understand why they didnt automatically give you the option to do both or just xl. should have happened automatically when you uploaded your shit. before i go online, i can "change vehicle", which gives me the option of going online as "license plate #" or "license plate # xl".

I know. That, and the app had a few glitches. I'm in touch with a CSR right now and trying to get it fixed ASAP. I realize this is partly my fault for letting my insurance card expire, but I only do uber for the XL. Only needs up netting around $90 tonight...

I can't get xl down here in tampa.Do not know why? I have a '13 Toyota Tundra 4Dr.Power Windows,A/C,Cruise,the whole bit.I just did not want chrome bumpers,but I have Chrome Step Boards.And it is kept spotless.
