I want to join Carey but wanted to know some basic things about them. Like do they charge weekly fees? Is their intro promo like bonus for signing up? Do they take Commision from each job? If there's anything else you know about them plz let me know

I do but I want to buy a house and my job isn't paying that much because I'm technically entry level in a finance company. I want to maximize my earnings with this as well. Also, the clients for these companies are much higher up than Uber or Juno clients. I can get lucky from it with making good money as well

Why don't you call there and see if they will even take you. Carey has high standards and doesn't hire noobs. They will most likely tell you to take a long walk off a short pier.
I tried calling but they said to show up at the office

Carey is not at all what they used to be right along with companies like Commonwealth and EmpireCLS. They are all doing relatively poorly in this new environment.

Carey only wants certain vehicles and you gotta have 1.5 million in insurnace, but they are slow so it may not help you much.

If you have the equipment for luxury bases just sign up with 2 or 3 at the most and establish a relationship with the dispatchers so you can run your schedule the way you need to.

Try to get some privates and it will level out for you.

bro go to the nearest honda dealer and trade that benz for a 13 accord. Whats best for you , driving a benz and looking for parking in the hood or driving a hooptie and parking in your HOUSE!

working in a bank with a background in finance you should know that 60% of homeowners in NY are not driving luxury vehicles. your coned bill is gonna surge 3.0x every month lol

be humble, save the 20% of the value of the house that you want so you can afford the mortgage, in the future you can use the home equity to buy your benz back with a nice 2% home equity loan ;)

thanks me later

I'm getting allot of negativity. But technically I'm not paying anything for the Benz. It's all paid for. I have no expenses for it except gas and maintenance. There's no financing I have to worry about. I just don't like to see my new car being wasted on Uber u know? Why not aim higher if there are chances?

I've done Uber Black but it isn't the best because the rate isn't that good since they take so much and on top of that, the wait is not worth it. I have one base I'm working with and it's great but trying to add another good one to make it perfect. I did Uber Black but I don't like it cuz most customers go to a very short distance

They are on par with most black car bases. Stop by there to get the info.
Ubernyc stated that they are chit, might have to agree with him, so are majority of bases these days.
Dial doesn't charge a weekly fee and you can be uber based.
XYZ requires their base and 1 million liability and E class is not acceptable.
The rates I like is for example:
LGA <-> NYC : $60
Jfk <-> NYC : $85
Newark <-> NYC: $100
Toll and parking is not included in these charges.

No one said it will be by driving Uber. I'm doing apps right now while being a full-time online college student and full-time security gig during the weekdays.
I'm not using this chump change for a house nor do I expect it to get me in one. I have plans to exit shortly. Read what I said in clear print THIS BUSINESS CAN'T SUSTAIN that anymore.

Now I see what Glen is saying here. Assuming and speaking and thinking about another mans pockets.
I was being positive here. Jesus

I don't mind Glen, cause he has Anger issues . Lmao

I mean I didn't have intentions of making it tlc ... I ended up doing it and it's too late to turn around. I am not making a loss. I am generating revenue by working or I'm making nothing but losing nothing if I just keep the Benz so the car isn't the problem.
You are mistaken . You already lost 30% from the value of the car when you first bought it and then when you slapped TLC plates on it. Now you are stuck in this game. Many black drivers are full time , so in your situation was better off to be doing X in a used up camry or accord for the extra cash.
I can't see an easy way out of this one for you. I also don't think you can afford to keep a luxury car with an entry level job. You probably don't pay rent and still live with parents, but still not a wise decision to have bought this car for personal use.

Nothing is perfect in this Buisness ,if your saying you already work with a good base just stick with it, doesn't make sense to jump around from base to base and be prepared once the new laws kick in for Long Island, WE, upstate, depending on what towns will allow uber without the TLC licenses, insurance etc it's only going to get worse

Listen guys don't get off topic, the fact that I have this car and everything is my problem. I've already said this but idk what's wrong with u guys, I am not paying anything for the car and I haven't paid it in full. It's called being smart... I just want recommendations for a good base
Do you mind explaining how one can not pay in full and not owe any payments on a car. Even hints would be appreciated.
