Has anyone gotten rideshare insurance or been having problems with there auto insurance company

I had auto insurance through Erie and added business/rideshare use to the policy. It only cost me an add'l $72/yr. I've read accounts of rideshare insurance costing over $2k per year in some cases. You need coverage for business use or you'll likely be dropped by your insurance company if you have an accident while driving for Uber. Now that rideshare has become "legal" in PA, perhaps there are more carriers offering rideshare insurance.

No carrier offer ridershare insurance in Philly, however they do have commercial insurance for 900 a month with 1800 down....

I have insurance with Erie. It was about triple what I paid with GEICO before I changed, but my GEICO personal policy is insanely cheap. And it was a few hundred less than what GEICO wanted for their commercial policy. I'm paying around $1K/year.

I have GEICO Commercial Insurance for ride shares business. I pay $240 a month and it's full coverage for both personal and business use of my car.

the isurance Uber provides is James River Insurance...$1000 deductible. They are terrible...still trying to collect a third party claim from December 16, 2016.
They claim they haven't received the Philadelphia Police report

State Farm doesn't offer rideshare in PA yet so I've been looking for a few days at different options. Geico quoted me 1557yr / 141.00 a month for full coverage both personal and commercial use of my car. Still waiting to hear back on Erie.
