Dear bros out there , am going to apply for uber and grab n will like to check with old birds here regards the process duration of converting to Z10 licensed from LTA(how long). Secondly any other alternatives of insurance company providing the commercial insurance (Cheaper) rather than only NTUC income? Lastly can I register company with other trade also?

Converting of scheme is immediate and can be done on the spot at LTA. It all depends on the queue that day how long you have to wait.
So far AXA is the cheapest and offer up to 20% NCD.
Yes, your company can be doing other things as well, but 42912 MUST be one of them.

Please ensure that the insurance is "correct" for private hire and cover everything including the "ferry"passengers on board. In case due to unforeseen circumstance whereby the passengers want an claim eg. head injury, this insurance can cover. If not, the liability will be you, U/GC don't care.
