I rarely run LYFT app. Mostly because the request come from bad parts of town I CHOOSE not to drive into. Last night I turned it on in a upscale area of restaurants and bars. Received a pick up request only 3 -4 minutes away. That's a change. Pick up goes smooth, women and boyfriend enter vehicle. My wheels have barely turned away from the curb and I smell the distinct odor of fried food. This women couldn't start eating her greasy french fries (or whatever) fast enough. Like many of you my LYFT rating is dreadfully low 4.64 (only 164 rides) . UBER hovers around 4.9. ( 2700) So I decide I'm not going to open my mouth. Just sit back and take it. Drop off and one star. I know I 'm exaggerating, but it is almost statistically impossible that nearly every LYFT ride I accept has some distinct issue involved in it that makes me say never again....

Ratings Extortion.

Tolerate Anything.

They designed the App. To Control You.

Lyft rider seems to be high maintence compare to uber. They will give out low rating like no tomorrow. I'm at 4.6 with lyft and 4.9 with uber. Got over 15 low star with lyft in one month compare to 2 with uber. And I did more uber ride. I treat both rider the same. Only reason I put up with lyft is they surge higher and faster. Lyft will go from 100% to 300% in couple minute. Uber have this slow build up of 1.5x, 1.8x, 2.1x and so on. The highest I seen uber surge this year is 5.8x compare to lyft 700% which is like 8x on uber. I was lucky enought to hit two of those 700%.

Almost the same here.
Lyft 4.7
Uber 4.9
That's weird all thru this forum a lot of drivers are Ub 4.9 / Lyft 4.6 -4.7 consistently and rideshare companies don't see the patterns.!? I was 4.9 with Lyft until I did Line rides in NJ for promo, blitz and sign on at the same time and I haven't been able to resurrect my rating since LOL

the biggest pro to Lyft is the massive primetimes you can catch. Got a 450% last night. Still seeking the elusive 600%.
Enjoy it while it lasts... and congrats on advertising success that will ultimately mean 10 more drivers in your area limiting your PT chances.
